Dental Care Beyond Brushing, Flossing, and Tongue-Scrapping

Published by Wayzata Dental Staff at 10:25 pm under Dental Care

Getting back to the basics is the ideal way to take care of your teeth. Here are a few dental care basics that you should follow apart from regular brushing, flossing, and tongue-scrapping.

  • Rinse your mouth after consuming anything.

  • Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday.
  • Eat a fruit instead of drinking its juice.
  • Change your toothbrush every three months.
  • Leave a gap of at least one hour after a meal before brushing your teeth.
  • Rub your gums with a finger after you have brushed to ease the blood circulation.
  • Eat a citrus fruit like guava or orange everyday.
  • Consume milk and milk products everyday.
  • Visit your dentist for a dental check-up every six months.

Happy smiling!
