Dental Care Tips You Can Share With Everybody

How often have you been asked for advice – on absolutely anything? Most of the times, we aren’t sure when we are asked for an opinion or advice. After today’s post, however, you will know what to tell people if they ask you for dental advice.

First of all, the moment anybody asks you or any kind of dental advice, remind them that they need to visit the dentist every six months. Here are some other all-season tips you can hand over.

  • Use a small-headed toothbrush so that it reaches the far corners in your mouth.

  • Use a mixture of baking soda and salt for whitening your teeth in a jiffy.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your mouth salivated. This prevents the formation of bacteria.
  • Eat a lot of fiber. Make roughage a part of every meal of yours. This helps clean your mouth and takes care of your overall health.
  • Develop the habit of rinsing your mouth after you have consumed something.
  • Change your toothbrush every three months. If the bristles look tattered at any time, change the toothbrush immediately.
  • Bite into a carrot or an apple when you feel hungry. They cleanse your mouth along with satisfying that hunger.
  • Brush gently. Also, make sure that you spend at least two-three minutes brushing your teeth. Opt for fruits instead of fruit juices. The fiber in the fruit helps keep the tongue clean, which further keep the bacteria at bay.
  • Leave a gap of an hour between a meal and brushing. The teeth are extremely vulnerable after a meal. Brushing immediately after a meal leads to teeth erosion.

Happy smiling!
