Do You Need to Visit Your Dentist Today?
Ideally, you should visit your dentist every six months. However, there are certain scenarios when you should visit him/her sooner. Do you need to visit him/her today? Find out.
- Have you injured your mouth today?
- Has one of your teeth come out of your mouth accidentally?
- Do your gums bleed when you brush your teeth?
- Do you have pain in one or more of your teeth for more than a day?
- Do you have visible, hard deposits (tartar) on the surface of your teeth?
- Do your teeth have yellow or brown stains?
- Do your gums appear red or swollen?
- Do you have bad breath in spite of following a proper dental care routine?
- Do you have sores in your mouth?
- Do you find your teeth loose when you brush them?
- Do you often have a bad taste in your mouth?
- Are your teeth chipped or broken?
- Have your teeth become sensitive to sweet, hot, and cold food?
It is important that you don’t ignore any sign of a dental problem or gum diseases. Don’t keep sitting on it, thinking that the problem will vanish on its own. The problem will actually aggravate if you ignore it, causing you pain and trouble later. Trust me, the dentist is not a monster. Visiting him/her sooner is better than paying heavy bills and suffering later.
You cannot rush to your dentist any time you feel your smile is not bright enough. Follow a dental care routine and visit the dental clinic every six months. This should prevent all dental and oral problems.
