Do You Really Like Your Smile?
This is also for the ones who follow a proper dental care routine. Yeah, taking care of your smile starts with regular care but it does not stop at that. You have to get rid of certain habits as well. Don’t worry, lying on the couch the whole day and surfing channels are not among them (Not that we are asking you to become a couch potato!). What I am referring to are habits that spoil your smile.
Snacking on sweets just before getting into bed is one habit you can live without. If you have a sweet tooth, eat the sweets during you meal, not later. And make sure you brush your teeth thoroughly before you hit the bed.
Nail-biting is a bad habit in all sense, and you know it. Chipped nails and chipped teeth both look bad, and if you have both, you are definitely sending bad vibes around. Stop eating your nails and get some food!
If you haven’t changed your toothbrush in a while, it’s time you do. Brushing with an old and tattered toothbrush is a bad habit. You should ideally change it every three months and if it looks worn out sooner, you need to change it at once. If you find yourself ruining your toothbrush very frequently, you may need to check the way you brush your teeth.
Another bad habit that many of us indulge in is hurried brushing. We pay attention to only those teeth that are visible. If you wanna keep them, you gotta brush them all! Bacteria in any corner of your teeth can ruin your smile.
I understand habits die hard but they have to be crushed if you want to flash a confident smile. Happy smiling!
