How to Please Your Dentist
Why would you need to do that? For obvious reasons. If your dentist has not been happy with the way you have been conducting yourself, you may be in for a very painful experience during your next visit to the dentist.
The best way to keep your dentist from harming you even if you haven’t been in his/her good books is by following a proper dental care routine. And you may actually end up being his/her favorite. So, brush and floss your teeth regularly. And make sure to keep your tongue clean and hydrated.
Always listen to your dentist. He/she is never wrong. Pay attention to every advice he/she offers. And don’t just hear, follow it. Failure to follow any of his/her instructions may cost you dearly. You know what I mean.
Don’t you ever miss your dental appointments. Never prioritize other tasks over the appointment with your dentist. And if you are not in town and really stuck with something, call up and fix up another time.
Along with giving you instructions on brushing, flossing, and post-treatment care, your dentist will prescribe to you certain foods. Snacking on such food may prove better than medication. So, listen and follow!
Thank him/her profusely. It may be his/her job, but if he/she does not do it sincerely, you are gone! So, thank him/her for the comfortable, painless experience at the clinic. And yeah, greet him/her on March 6, Dentists’ Day.
These tips will help you become your dentist’s favorite patient and even get you a candy or two.
Happy smiling!
