Here we go again, writing a post title that grabs your attention. Have you ever wondered why we are so obsessed with white teeth? Did you that white teeth reflect healthy teeth? Well, you are almost right. Why almost? Because white teeth do not necessarily mean that you do not have a dental problem. Also, not everyone’s teeth are white. Surprised? Here’s the fact about the color of your teeth: the natural color of teeth is white for people with darker complexion while it is yellowish for fairer people. So, consult your dentist before you think your teeth are not white.

If your teeth do have stains, you can undergo any of the many teeth whitening treatments available at the dental clinic. Let’s look at some of the popular whitening procedures.

Bleaching

The most popular whitening procedure, bleaching is a simple dental proedure. Done in one sitting, this procedure shows immediate results.

Whitening toothpastes

The whitening toothpaste is an over-the-counter product. There are various other whitening solutions available over the counter. Though these do not show immediate results, they are said to show results with continued usage for a long period of time. However, make sure you consult your dentist before buying such products.

Revitalizing Trays

The treatment with revitalizing rays involves fixing clear trays with a whitening gel on the teeth. These trays are worn for a day or two. The results may take a week or two to show.

Zoom Whitening

A technological advancement, this whitening procedure is fast. It is considered more effective than other whitening procedures. Zoom whitening involves applying a gel to the teeth and exposing them to a special light.
