Is it Time to Go to the Dentist Yet?

Irrespective of how your dental health is, you should go to the dentist every six months. This just goes on to ensure that your teeth remain healthy and sparkling. But apart from the routine visits, there are other times you should visit your dentist. So, is it time for you to go to the dental clinic? Let’s find out.

If you have suffered a dental injury causing you to lose a tooth, rush to the dentist right away. If you can find the tooth, try fitting it in your mouth in its place and rush to the dentist at once. If you cannot fit the tooth, dip it in some milk and carry it that way to the dentist immediately. Your dentist can fix the tooth back in its place.

If your gums have been bleeding for more than two days, you have got to go. Bleeding gums is not normal. Watch out for any other dental/oral problem and inform your dentist.

If you have been suffering from toothache for more than two days, see your dentist. Toothache can be an indication of an infection or cavities.

If you can see hard deposits on the surface of your teeth, you have tartar. Go to your dentist to get them removed. Start following a proper dental care routine.

If your teeth are stained, you need your dentist. There could be many reasons for the staining of your teeth. You cannot wait too long to find the reason.

If your gums are swollen or red, you may have a gum disease. Do not wait for the gums to become normal on their on. Visit your dentist before you aggravate your condition.
