The base

• Lemon oil

If your teeth are sensitive or your teeth and gums are affected by some disease, ask your dentist before using the homemade toothpaste. The homemade toothpaste is not only beneficial for you dental health, it also helps renew the confidence in your smile. Moreover, this toothpaste is not expensive at all.

The only thing that homemade toothpaste does not have is fluoride, our teeth’s friend. If your drinking water contains fluoride, you do not need it in your toothpaste. It is a good idea to consult your dentist before starting to use the homemade toothpaste.

Yes, there is this one too! The toothpowder is a tooth cleansing agent used in some parts of the world. It is coarser than talcum powder but softer than crushed sugar. The toothpowder is applied on the teeth with the help of the index finger, and like toothpaste, it is used to clean the surface of the teeth. The toothpowder can help teeth cleansing if done along with brushing and flossing.

Whitening solutions

There are lotions, creams, and complete whitening packages that make sure your teeth sparkle. These do-it-yourself home solutions can give you the radiant smile you long for. However, they cannot replace the expertise of a dentist. For long-lasting results, visit your dentist.

The tongue cleaner comes in different shapes, the simple tongue scraper being the most popular choice. The tongue scraper should be used gently to avoid any bacteria formation on the tongue.

The market is abuzz with a range of toothbrushes. They come in all sizes, shapes, and colors. The electric toothbrush is catching up these days. When I started using the electric toothbrush, my friends told me it just went on to prove that I am lazy even when it comes to brushing my teeth! Honestly speaking, it’s not any less effort, just a little more convenient.

The toothpaste, yes!

In the previous posts, we have told you that you should invest in fluoride-based toothpaste. However, if your drinking water has fluoride in it, you will not need fluoride in your toothpaste. Floss and floss aids

Floss comes in different variety, as simple threads or tapes or as floss aids. A floss aid has the floss along with a plastic stick in a convenient shape so that you can clean the hard-to-reach places easily.

A mouthwash has multiple functions. It not only cleanses your mouth by rinsing it, but also gives you refreshingly fresh breath.
