More often than not, we start living with them instead of getting the errors rectified. Do you have an anomaly you would want rectified? Let’s look at a few of such anomalies at first.

Hypodontia is a condition where you don’t have all the teeth. This can be corrected by using dental implants. An extreme version of this condition is anodontia in which a person does not grow any teeth. In another condition called hyperdontia, the mouth has more teeth than usual. The condition also is a result of genetic conditions as well as environmental factors.

Microdontia is the dental condition in which the teeth are smaller than the usual size. In most cases, this affects only one teeth or a very few. Typically, tooth replacement is the cure for this condition. In contrast to microdontia, macrodontia is a condition in which some or all teeth of a person are larger than usual. In some cases, macrodontia affects one side of the face.

Your dentist will be able to provide you with more information on these anomalies. And thanks to the technological advancements in the field of dentistry, it is possible to correct the tooth anomalies. So, if you have any condition amongst the ones mentioned above, don’t worry about it; just seek an appointment with the dentist. He/she will be able to help you smile more confidently.

Happy smiling!
