Tips for Daily Brushing
You already know brushing is important. You already brush two times in a day. What more can I probably tell you about brushing? Lots, actually. Read on.
Do you spend enough time brushing your teeth?
Brush your teeth for at least two-three minutes. Play your favorite song while you brush. This way, you will not only relax while you brush but also spend enough time on brushing your teeth.
Are you gentle to your teeth?
Do not brush too hard. Brushing hard harms both your enamel and your gums. Your gums may bleed because of brushing harshly.
Do you brush your teeth right?
You should hold the brush at 45 degrees angle from your teeth surface. Brush the front teeth with upward and downward motions. Apply short strokes to brush your teeth. At one time, brush only one tooth; keep the stroke aligned to one tooth at a time.
Do you brush at the right time?
Do not brush too soon after you have had your meal. Wait for about an hour before you pick up the toothbrush. The acids in the food make the enamel soft and susceptible to damage. The enamel hardens itself after some time. There should be an interval of 45-60 minutes between eating food and brushing.
Now, these tips were simple. And you don’t really need to spend any extra time following these. Just keep in mind the above-mentioned points while brushing. And soon, you will be flaunting the best smile in town. Happy smiling!
