Twelve easy-to-follow dental care tips
- Leave an interval of an hour after a meal before you pick up the toothbrush.
- Use a straw to sip on your favorite fizzy drink. Ideally, we would like you to avoid consuming such drinks, but we know you wouldn’t immediately listen to us.
- Eat a fruit instead of drinking its juice.
- Rinse your mouth after eating or drinking anything.
- Cut down on the consumption of tobacco. Oh well, we cannot ask you to quit at once, but we would love it if you could.
- Avoid drinking red wine or curried food before a date. This will help you prevent any immediate stains on your teeth.
- Use your teeth to chew food only. Do not go around boasting your teeth’s strength by opening containers.
- Do not be too hard on your teeth while brushing.
- Make flossing and tongue cleaning accompany your first brushing in the day.
- Change your toothbrush every three months or earlier if the bristles appear tattered.
- Clean all your teeth.
