Some of the common procedures are bonding, enamel micro-abrasion, and veneers.

Treatments are fine but if you have to go for them too frequently, there is something you are not doing right. In order to prevent teeth discoloration, follow a dental care routine religiously. There are several factors that may cause stains on your teeth.

If you consume colored food regularly and don’t clean your teeth properly, you are highly likely to sport stained teeth. You should reduce the consumption of tea, coffee, and carbonated drinks if you want white teeth. Red wine also causes stains on your teeth. Make sure you drink it moderately and clean your teeth properly.

Smoking is bad in every way. Cut down on the number of cigarettes if you want your smile to look good. And yes, tobacco in any other form is equally bad.

Certain medicines may also cause your teeth to stain. Let your dentist know the medication you are on so that he/she can find out the underlying cause of your stained teeth.

Visit your dentist once in six months to make sure all is fine with your teeth.
