When Do You Visit Your Dentist?

Published by Wayzata Dental Staff at 7:55 am under Dentist

Most of us don’t go to the dentist unless we have a problem. And some of us don’t go even if there is a problem. Trust me, the dentist is not a monster, just another human being. Visiting him/her will not only rescue of unnecessary pain and discomfort but also make your smile more scintillating and confident that ever. In today’s post, I have listed some scenarios when you MUST pay a visit to your dentist.

  • You have pain in your teeth and gums. If your pain has stayed longer than two days, it’s time to bid bye to the problem causing it.

  • You have yellow or brown stains on your teeth.
  • You have tartar on your teeth.
  • Your gums bleed when you brush.
  • Your bad breath does not go away even after regular oral care.
  • Your gums have become red and/or swollen.
  • You have sores in your mouth.
  • Your teeth appear loose and move while brushing.
  • You feel bad taste in the mouth.
  • You have become too sensitive to sweet, hot, and cold food.
  • Your teeth are chipped or broken.
  • You injured your teeth and mouth.

You can avoid many of the above-mentioned scenarios if you visit your dentist just once in six months. That surely isn’t too much to ask. If you experience the slightest hint of a dental problem, don’t ignore it.

Make sure you follow all the instructions your dentist gives. Take proper care of your teeth and you’ll never have to go through painful tooth experiences.

Happy smiling!
