When Was the Last Time You Visited the Dentist?

So, when did you visit your dentist last? Within the last six months? Great if you did, and if you didn’t, let me ask you if you are sure your dental health. Don’t you go for medical check-ups to make sure your health is fine? Then why ignore your smile? Whitening toothpastes are not enough to make your smile sparkle. Let your dentist make sure that your smile remains healthy.

Apart from going to your dentist every six months, seek an appointment if you have the following conditions:

  • Your gums have become red and/or swollen.

  • Your teeth appear loose and move while brushing.
  • You feel bad taste in the mouth.
  • You have pain in the teeth and gums.
  • Your gums bleed when you brush. Note: You should not stop brushing if you find blood in your gums. Your dentist will diagnose the problem and treat you.
  • You have become too sensitive to sweet, hot, and cold food.
  • Your bad breath does not go away even after regular oral care.
  • You have yellow or brown stains on your teeth.
  • You have tartar on your teeth.
  • You have sores in your mouth.
  • Your teeth are chipped or broken.
  • You fell or had an accident that affected your mouth.

Ignoring ignore signs of a dental problem is a bad idea. You may end up ruining your smile with tooth decay and tooth loss. Dentists are not really demons. You will find some extremely smart and friendly dentists at the Wayzata Dental Clinic.
