Your Dental Care Should Include Explanation

Published by Wayzata Dental Staff at 11:15 am under Dental Care

When you go to the dentist to have work done – whether it’s because you’ve had increased sensitivity or a toothache or other symptoms or the need for work was discovered during a routine appointment – it’s important that you, as a patient, have an understanding of what’s going on.

In other words, when you receive dental care, it’s important that those who are providing the service are able to explain the process. When you understand what’s going on, the experience is more comfortable and creates far less anxiety.

That’s why we at Wayzata Dental use an intraoral camera: it allows us to show you what we see. When we can show you the location of decay or a crack in the enamel of your teeth, we can better explain what your options are.

However, providing you with an explanation of the process is not the only advantage of our using an intraoral camera: the other benefit is that we are better able to see what’s going on because we’re able to see the work that we’re doing, enlarged, so that it’s easier to provide you with the dental care you need, without missing a thing.
